  • A copy of your child's birth certificate along with a copy of their updated shot record is also required. 
  • On your child's first day:  the 1st months tuition is due, along with the supply fee (if applicable) of $50.

        Discovery Toddler-     curriculum    daily schedule

            This program is designed for ages 18 to 24 months.  It offers a balance of nurturing, playtime, and                 learning throughout the day.

            Learning environments that keep your 2 and 3 year old's fingers busy and their mind engaged and                     happy.

       

         Pre-Kindergarten        curriculum    daily schedule

            We focus on daily activities that develop your 4 to 5 year old child's academic skills while enhancing                 his/her social skills.

 

        Before and After School

            Our goal for this program is to assist the parent and child by making the family's work to/from school             transition alot easier.  We assist with homework, provide a light snack as they enjoy their friends and             engage in activities that are relevant to school-age interests.

1. What are your hours of Operation?

Early Scholars Academy is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am-6:30pm

 

2.  Does my child have to be potty trained?

No.  We assist in potty training.

 

3. What age does my child have to be?

Our Toddler Discovery Center is designed for children 18 months to 3.5 years, and our Preschool                 Facility Program is designed for children 3 years to 5 years.

 

4. How do parents receive information?

Our teachers are available on a daily basis to answer questions about their child’s day.  Our center has a parent board at the entrance.  This board is kept current with up to date information regarding upcoming events. 

 

6. What are your vacation days and holidays?

We reserve the same holidays as Pearland ISD.

 

7. What are your tuition fees?

Please see “Tuition” under “Admissions” section of our home page.

8. Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes.  We offer a 10% discount for the second child.

9. What are your registration fees and payment policies?

  1. One-Time Registration Fee: $25.  This fee will be accepted only if a space is available and set aside for your child’s enrollment.
  2. A one-time supply of $50.
  3. Tuition is due the Friday prior to the next week.  If paying by the month, tuition is due the first Monday of each month.

10. What food do you provide the children?
 

Early Scholars Academy provides an AM snack, lunch, and  PM snack.  All meals and snacks are nutritionally balanced.

11. What if I want to take the summer off, do I still have to pay?

The monthly tuition is payable whether your child is present in school or not. This includes the summer months if you are planning to continue enrollment in the fall. There will be no refunds nor can the child make up missed time.

12. Do you offer extra programs?

We believe in creating a community environment for all of our children.  Early Scholars Academy schedules special visitors such as:  Petting Zoos, Fire Fighters and Bubble Shows.

13. What kind of parent involvement opportunities do you have available?

Early Scholars Academy and our children thrive from parent involvement.  We have Parent Meetings, Family Events, Thanksgiving Feast, Pot Luck Dinners, Halloween Festival, Teacher Appreciation Week, & Family Picnics.  Parents with any special talents or free time are always welcome!

14. What is your sick policy?

Children who are sick require close attention and care.  If your child shows symptoms such as:  Fever, Diarrhea, vomiting, unexplained rash, pink eye etc. we ask that you keep your child at home until he/she is symptom free for 24 hours.  If a child becomes ill while they are at school, the child’s parents will be called immediately and asked to pick up their child.

15. Do you have an emergency plan?

Yes.  Early Scholars Academy provides all teachers with CPR and First aid training.  Our teachers have developed evacuation plans and have regular practice drills with the children.

16.. Are your teachers CPR trained?

All Staff members are required to hold current CPR & First Aid training. 

 

17. Do you do any fundraising for the school?

No.  However, we will be supporting different causes throughout the year and your assistance is welcome.

18. When children graduate from Early Scholars Academy, which Kindergarten programs do they attend?

Our graduates attend the on of the 11 elementary schools of Pearland Independent School District. Additionally, we have graduates enter into local private schools. 

 

19.  Do you require students to wear uniforms?

Yes.  Students are required to wear red polo-style shirts and khaki bottoms
