   Home Health Services - Overview

Often, patients realize that their illness restricts activity in their daily lives, making living alone too difficult. They want to improve their circumstances and stay in the comfort of home, but prefer not to become a burden to their family. Many find hope with Mercyfull Home Health Care Services. Mercyfull has nearly two decades of experience providing long-term, continuous care to chronically ill patients. In keeping with the exemplary standards of the homecare industry, all of our offices are licensed, as required, and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (CHAP). Mercyfull works with the patient's Physician and family to implement a plan of treatment and ensure continuity of care from the familiar surroundings of home.

Mercyfull Home Health Care staff is screened and credentialed and has experience providing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with a variety of ailments. We ensure our homecare service is provided for the entire time it is needed and require that our care representatives are available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, so assistance is always at your finger tips.

Mercyfull Home Health Care Services provides personal care, management and/or treatment of the following:

Our homecare services include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of clinical care plan
  • Attention to disabilities, chronic illness, and/or therapies
  • Coordination of home medical equipment, pharmacy, and supplies
  • Distribution of prescribed medications and/or therapies
  • Assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Performance of personal care (bathing, grooming, etc.)
  • Preparation of meals and feeding
  • Assistance with daily activities

Mercyfull Home Health Care Team includes:

Skilled Nurses
Mercyfull provides a full range of nursing services including wound care, IV therapy, diabetic care, catheter care, cardiac and respiratory assessment, medication management, pain management, and cancer care.

Therapists
Assessment and treatment by Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists for adults and children.

Medical Social Workers (MSW)
Our MSW provide case management, grief counseling, coordination of community resources, and assistance with social/emotional effects, as well as coping with acute and chronic illness in the home setting.

Home Health Aides
Mercyfull Home Health Aides provide assistance with daily living activities and personal care.

• The national average daily rate for a semi-private room in a nursing home is $183, or $66,795 annually.
